Selection Process
Stage 1: Shortlisting via UPSSSC PET 2025
The initial screening is not a separate exam, but is based on your performance in the Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET 2025).
Candidates are shortlisted for the Main Written Examination based on their normalized PET 2025 scores.
Candidates with zero, negative, or less-than-zero scores are strictly ineligible for shortlisting.
Stage 2: Main Written Examination
Shortlisted candidates must appear for the Main Exam. This serves as the primary gateway for final selection.
Format: Objective Type / Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
Total Marks: 100 marks (1 mark per question).
Negative Marking: $0.25$ marks will be deducted for every incorrect answer.
Duration: 2 hours (120 minutes).
Total Questions: 100 questions.
Stage 3: Document Verification (DV) & Final Merit List
Merit Generation: The final merit list is prepared solely based on the marks secured in the Main Written Examination.
